What the Client Needed


Suga is a well established group of five retail stores that sell hand made rock candy.
Their website was dated and badly structured so they needed help revamping the site to make it have greater impact.

Objectives


  Create a site with enormous appetite appeal
  Generate leads for the customised candy market
   Make online purchasing quick, easy + enjoyable
  Design + implement an e-newsletter
  Integrate a content management system (CMS)

What We Did

 

 Online research of competitor sweet brands to understand the market
 Defined the positioning for Suga – ‘sweet treats that rock’
 Established the brand personality – funky, genuine, sense of humour
 Strengthened the brand logo through the use of new colours and shading
 Planned the structure + functionality of the site to ensure ease of use
 Placed a link on every page to provide focus for customised orders
 Devised an online order form to make ordering customised rock candy quicker and easier
 Used Creativa to film a fun video for the HOME page showing rock candy being hand made
 Photographed the entire product range to provide photos with appetite
       appeal for use on every page of the website
 Wrote the copy for the site in line with the brand personality
 Built an online store with secure payment facility and invoice generation
 Designed and provided a name for an e-newsletter


The Result


A focused brand with a more contemporary logo and a clear brand personality - all reflected in the vibrant, funky website. Great product shots and a fun video enhance the impact and create a point of difference. Suga were so delighted that they asked us to redesign their product labels and business cards in line with the new logo and feel of the website.
